<p><strong>To create true abundance in your life</strong> you will need two broad spectrum things: <strong>An external process and an internal process.</strong></p>
<blockquote>
<h2>Having an external experience of abundance is a direct result of living an internal experience of abundance.</h2>
</blockquote>
<p><strong>However, we all know that to some degree that internal experience is also determined at least to some degree by the external experience</strong> . It goes something like this:<strong> Wealthy thinking/feeling,</strong> (internal) &#8212; <strong>Wealthy experiences</strong> , money and stuff, (external). <strong>Having the money and stuff gives us validation of experiencing abundance</strong> and in so doing creates the thinking and feeling, (internal again).</p>
<p><strong>The thought process and feelings build within us</strong> , (internal) and <strong>add to our field attracting more of the external experiences that validate us</strong> , (external). Put simply:</p>

<h2>Being leads to having and having leads to being.</h2>
</blockquote>
<p><strong>It’s a loop</strong> . And so you see that <strong>you must have both experiences going on</strong> , because one feeds into the other over and over again. <p><strong>Okay back to the external experience of abundance</strong> : I have said on many occasions that <strong>real abundance is a lot more than money; in fact money is only one expression of wealth. </strong> Nonetheless, it is an important part of the whole experience.</p>
<p><strong>If you want to create wealth in your life you have got to be able to recognize value</strong> . More specifically <strong>you must be able to recognize your own value.</strong></p>
<p>If you are <strong>genuinely resonating from a place of abundance opportunities will present themselves to you at every turn.</strong> However, when those opportunities show up <strong>if you have nothing of value to offer why would anyone give you their money?</strong></p>

<h2><strong>Money is an energetic medium of exchange! </strong></h2>
</blockquote>
<p><strong>Here’s the real secret to understanding and creating abundance: People buy energy,</strong> whether it’s <strong>your personal energy in the form of a service you offer or</strong> your energy expressed <strong>through the product you create.</strong> They are always buying your energy.</p>

<h2>Nothing is ever bought or sold beyond the desire for an experience we hope that energy will bring.</h2>
</blockquote>
<p><strong>Think about Starbucks™</strong> when they started out they <strong>sold coffee at about four times the price of their competitors.</strong> Why did anyone pay so much for that cup of frothy coffee? The simple answer was because<strong> they were not and never have sold ‘coffee’. </strong> What they sell is the energy of what they call <strong>“The third place experience”</strong> .</p>
<p>Starbucks™ wants you to think of their store as the third place you’d hang out at, (first being home, second being work). The Starbucks™ ‘third place’ philosophy is that of the show ‘Cheers’, <strong>the place you can go where everyone knows your name and your beverage of choice. </strong> They want you to go there because they were building the energy of it being ‘your’ third place.</p>
<p>So that brings us to the big question:<strong> What do you have to offer? </strong></p>

<h2>What is the unique value you bring to the world that people will line up at your door to give you money for?</h2>

<p><strong>I</strong> f you don’t know the answer, it’s because <strong>you are blind, (as are most people) to your own gifts.</strong> Right now, get out a pen and paper and <strong>write down the names of 5 people who know you well. Now write down the names of 5 people who know you, but not that well</strong> .</p>
<p>Now <strong>make a commitment to call or meet with each of them over the next 7 days.</strong> (If you spread it out too far it’s easy to become disconnected from what was said). <strong>Ask each of them to be totally honest and tell you what they see as your greatest strength.</strong> Ask each of them to tell you <strong>what they see as your personal genius blind spot. </strong> Take down every word you hear even if you have no interest in pursuing it, <strong>even if you think the person is completely wrong or crazy. </strong></p>
<p>Collect the data, sift through it, <strong>look for common themes </strong> and <strong>design a product or service</strong> around what came out of your survey. <strong>What you come up with will be an expression of your inner genius</strong> and that my friend is the energy they want and they will be banging your door down to give you their money to get.</p>
