I recently got a note from someone who had the cheek to tell me how much they have enjoyed all the insights I have shared with them for free via social media. Now as great as that sounds, let me share the back-end of that sentence. They went on to say that they were getting put off by the fact that I was promoting my events.
Another one of these charmers who I had given ongoing support to, suddenly decided that I should follow their new gurus wisdom and declare it as the “absolute truth.” Because I was not willing to engage in a right wrong argument this person is now trying to friend all my friends on facebook telling then that I’m a liar and wait for it, this is a new one, “master demon“.
[asal] Now let me be clear, I appreciate that everyone has an opinion and they are entitled to it, and that includes the fact that I do not have to accept what I consider to be abuse. That being said; so am I…
I’m so done with folks who are upset with the fact that I am in business…
All my life I’ve been dedicated to serving others, often giving away much of my value, to “help” those not able to pay. I’ve always done this with authentically generosity. You see for me if you give with strings attached it is not a gift. That being said, it is also important to pay attention to whether the person receiving what you gift is actually valuing that gift.
After many years of research I can tell you without doubt, unless they have skin in the game, (that person is invested) very little, if anything will happen.
Both my company and myself are mission driven. That being said, I am in business and businesses do not run on love, light and wishful thinking. Therefore, if the fact that I let you know I can serve you better through one of my multiple learning systems, (products or live events) upsets you, feel free to remove yourself from my friends on Facebook, Twitter or my email list. I am sure there is someone else can serve you better.
To everyone who chooses to stay on board; thank you for showing yourself as someone who understands the value of investing in your own growth.

I trust that reading this you will begin to fully own your value, and to those standing around waiting for a hand out of your time, energy or talent, tell them plain and simple…Piss Off!
No matter how much you give, there will always be those who are going to take shots at you. I heard a great quote the other day that fits perfectly with my point:
“Dogs don’t bark at parked cars” …
So if they’re dogging you, it means your moving baby!
Some people thought I was upset about the above message, in truth…That person offered me a great gift.: Boundaries are a beautiful thing, and just like everyone else I need to be reminded that I am resop0sible for holding my own.
I would put it to you that living anything less than authentically isn’t really living. (Take a look at the video below) Giving away your value is NOT authentic! Remember that becoming a true leader demands that you fully and authentically show up.
I have said many times… What I offer isn’t for everyone, and I am more than good with that.
BTW: If you are in business, and you are sick of people thinking that you are running some kind of charity, you may want to consider re-posting this on your page, so that they get it…You Own Your Value!

Hi Dov, I know exactly where you are coming from with those people. people who will suck up every piece of free info they can get, and yet dont think enough of themselves to invest in a life changing philosophy. It’s not so much the paying out of money that creates the negatives people are putting out, its a more pertinent fact and it is this. Absorbing free info is fine, but when it comes to proceeding further with it and actually doing something with the knowledge they have gained for free, than all the thousands of excuses for procrastination appear. However for many the answer is to ‘shoot the messenger’ who after imparting valuable info for free is now having the gaul to ask for payment. its always a good excuse for doing nothing. The world and the internet are filled with excuse makers. They all have the same excuse. ‘Oh! I would have been a contender but didn’t want to pay for the door to open.’ People who do succeed know and realised very early on that to invest in your own success is the only way to become who you want to be. The wishers and false dreamers of this world will always be there watching from the sidelines as the doers become more and more successful in their respective goals.
Unfortunately there will never be enough time to even try to convert the minds of these people who are destined for a mediocre existance. Those who respect you Dov and respect not only the thousands of dollars you have personally spent on your own development and in bringing it to the public eye will always be thankful for your exiastance and your work. the rwest can as you put it Piss off !!! cheers John

Quiet no longer – Hi Dov!
If we think to our own lives, we’ve all had teachers who we’ve connected with and others we have not. While they’ve taught the same curriculum, some infuse their vast personal knowlege and other paint-by-numbers to get a paycheck.
Awhile back I had read a rant someone wrote about you just after we met…and I wondered if that person had met you or was just writing rubbish because you instill things in people that he maybe heard before. Why I say this is because, I’ve workshopped, worked with, and am not chopped liver myself – others who pass on some of the same and similar messages as you.
Why I questioned that person and the person you speak of now is because of what I have come to know about you.
You are not only the real package, yet also a full package of knowlege gleened from so many philosophies, varied study and deep self-reflection. It quickly doesn’t matter to me if you speak on things others do, as only you do it as you do and only you do it so encompassing and in a way that truly ties loose ends together FULLY.
I am honored to know you and thank you for the essence of how you deliver your brilliance too. I feel it with Renuka also and find you to be a match that adds to all you do.
So, this note really is not for you. It’s for anyone who wonders if you’re for real or of real value. Only they can answer if you would be for them, yet I am here to say that you are for those with eyes wide open, and what better way is there to live?

I am one of those persons who at this point of my life looking for pearls of wisdom that have been generously given by people like yourself and am very very greatful for this as it helps me move forward and keep searching for my own authentic way to live life and to serve others, while I am unable to afford a personalised coaching program or any other product. Dov, your point is well made. We are honoured to know you and to have been taught by you. You, my friend, are the “real deal”.
Your gift to us was well used and greatly appreciated. Our desire is to encourage as many people as we can to take advantage of your incredible programs that bust out with supreme value and value-added features. You simply change lives and that should be expected to have a cost.
We too, in our programs have been fortunate to have touched lives, as you have graciously pointed out at some of your events. We too have found some of the same attitudes about our work. When the rest of my expenses are free… (Food, gas, living, etc) and I’m free to work wherever and whatever I want, then my services would also be free. But we don’t live on that planet yet.
Dov, I know you are dedicated to people’s growth. This doesn’t happen AFTER a day job (earning money elsewhere so you can not be starving and providing service to others). Your dedication requires a full day (and more) of attention. There isn’t room for a day job AND this quality of service. You took a massive risk of leaping into this many years ago and gave up certainty to create all the courses (and books).
Furthermore, the service you provide is a life changer for people; a value to the receiver.
I have been around people that live under the banner “never-enough”. It didn’t matter how much I gave, they wanted more. After decades of that (being a slow learner) I just keep them out of my life now. They are never satisfied. I get it. The ocean wouldn’t fill their cup because there’s a hole in the bottom of the cup. I learned a powerful word at the doctors office: “NEXT”. I wish them all the best…. NEXT!

I am in a similar situation to Katrin, I am at that point in my life where I’m making positive changes apply to me and my life, all of your knowledge and wisdom both from your free snippets all over the web and the “Don’t read this, your Ego” book as well as the DVD’s of yours I purchased have incalculable value Dov. You and your bride Renuka are the REAL DEAL, no B.S.
Agree totally to with Allen’s point that when all our living is based upon true value then everything will be free, but as yet we do not live in world like that, you can’t give everything away for free in a system like this. After all, as I have discovered to my cost in the past, both health wise and financially, you have to look after yourself before you can take care of others.

I like the way that you openly and authentically integrate buiness with personal change as a way to help both yourself and others at the same time. I’m not a total Dov lurker / freeloader, as I’ve paid for EMF, First Access, books etc, but I’ve also enjoyed your free stuff (podcasts etc). Back in April I joined Resonance City, then forgot I’d joined and when I checked my finances I realized I paid for about 4 months without using it. Ordinarily I’d have kicked myself and gone begging for a possible refund. Instead I thought, heck: I know I’ve had at least $120 of free advice from Dov, he deseves it! To your continued success.

Only a certain type of person will truly appreciate who you are and what you have to offer Dov…Thank God, or your classes, seminars, etc. would be overflowing with people who can’t get enough of your pearls of wisdom and…those of us who totally “get you” and what you have to offer would not be able to benefit as greatly from how special you are.

services trying to “prove” that I was “worthy of hire”. I had to reset my mindset because my actions led me into bankruptcy and foreclosure. My experience taught me to set proper boundaries, honor my requirements for mutually beneficial relationships and to release the hold of people-pleasing.
Your words “You own your value” are in alignment with my beliefs. I
still give away free items- Blog posts, email tips, special reports,
teleseminars, etc. – the difference is that today it is not to prove anything. It

Personally I think Dov is one of the most generous people I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. Whenever I have needed some guidance and contacted Dov he has always responded to me and given me advice and in his responses he has never told me that he couldn’t help unless I attended a workshop – now how many “personal development gurus” are willing to do that!
Dov has the right to earn a living just like anyone else, the only difference is that he’s one of few that get to earn their living doing what he loves. I think it’s in the Don’t Read This Unless You Want More Money where Dov talks about where people seem to think they can’t /shouldn’t charge (earn a living) because they’re doing what they love – but isn’t that what we are all trying to achieve in life.
I can’t stand it when people think they have the right to attack someone else’s character, especially when there is no basis for it, and to then go around and publicly attack them just doesn’t compute with me.
That person needs to take a good long hard look at themselves and stop pointing the finger at other people – to me they’re just trying to distract the focus off themselves.
We all love you Dov and what you do every day makes a difference to the lives of those who want more - don’t change a thing :)

I am actually way more intelligent then dov and any sane person would agree with me if we were talking right if front of you so hear me out. I can also prove everything I say so don’t assume I’m some fanatic freak trying to prove a point without direct proof. I did those things because I KNOW and I know other people who KNOW the absolute truth and I know dov does not. But he says that nobody knows the absolute truth, how would he know that. He said something without proof and study. If you dont know, dont talk. He doesnt know and is talking. He is leading people in a very dark direction. He is changing lives? How? I read this and was nodding in agreement. To quote yourself and other mentors who have helped me so much, you should expect to be paid for providing a valuable service. The airline you use, your car, hotel room and the whole rest of your life run on money. People who gripe about paying for loa teachings pay for everything else right ? Who appointed YOU to be the only free service ?
